World orphan’s day 2022

Not everyone in life will enjoy the serendipity of having a parent around or family. However, humanity behoves on us to share happiness to the less privilege. In doing so, happiness becomes a ripple effect that spreads across the whole community.

Rayuwa foundation and some social activists, championed the celebration of WOD 2022 by visiting the Home of Taqawa orphanage and spent the day with the orphans. We engaged in entertainment and educational games and also shared food and gifts to the orphans. It’s thrilling to see the happy faces of the orphans not just because of the food and gifts they received, but knowing people out there care and want to them to belong.

“Everybody needs somebody”..!

The foundation of every society is the family and it’s imperative for every family to nurture their children with the right education, in order to have the prospects of good future generation. However, in a world were there is a tendency for children to get exposed to dangers, there is the need to protect and equip the children with how to avoid dangers.

In this light, Rayuwa Foundation organised a sponsored 10 week program to educate children on rights and responsibilities. And also teach them basic skills on how to avoid and report dangers. It was fun and thrilling to learn from these children too with the questions and ideas the pose during these sessions.

One of the best thing you can do for a community, is to be a good mentor!
