From the ashes
From the broken pieces
From the ceaseless tears
Gruesome pains and hurts
A fall beyond what the heart can bear
Scattered emotions
Hosted in different vessels
A wanderer birthed from pain
A seeker glued to fate
Love, a distance beyond reach
Beneath the shadows of shame
Words became worthless as
Actions proved to be lame
And the world came crashing
While lust became the new love
Sinking too deep
Wandering too far
Miles away in the land of beautiful evil
A darkening cloud hover
Above the sky of an innocent soul
She waited
He was waiting
Time was slow
And the future had no glow
But love, like passing water will surely flow
Broken into perfect fractions
They formed a perfect whole
On a loner’s rough road
They found answers in their pieces
To their long awaited love puzzle
